About

Twenty years doing the job, not describing it.

Greenwork Consulting was founded by Damon Williams, who currently serves as Head of Product at Flute, a PE-backed SMB fintech. At Flute, Damon shapes product strategy, product org design, and product operating model among other accountabilities.

Before Flute he built and ran product organizations at a $26B health system, a PE-backed SaaS platform, Electronic Arts, and PayPal. The work he is proudest of tends to be the least visible: org structure, job ladders, performance criteria, and the training that moves a team from delivering projects to owning products.

Damon holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is the sole author of Pro PayPal E-Commerce (Apress, 2007). Between 2008 and 2020 he led more than 300 seminars on leadership and personal development. He lives in Roseville, California with his wife and two daughters.

How we work

We would rather show you something working than show you a deck.

Engagements start by watching how the work happens rather than reading how the process document says it happens. Then we build something small and real early, so you are reacting to a working thing instead of a hypothesis.

And if we think you are solving the wrong problem, we will say so. That is most of what you are paying for.

Next step

Let's discuss an engagement.

Describe the situation and we will tell you whether we can move it. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
